Why talk about false prophets and false teachers? The reason why its important to do this is because there is only one gospel message that saves (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). We as born-again believers in Jesus Christ must contend for the faith (Jude 1:3-5). No one has the right nor the authority to try to change, pervert or corrupt the gospel (Galatians 1:1-9).
These are the major heretical false teachings of our day Part 2.
51. False teachers will tell you that Jesus died spiritually not literally, physically, and bodily.
The gospel is that Jesus voluntarily, literally, physically and bodily died on the cross for our sins. He was literally and physically buried, and He literally, physically, and bodily arose from the grave three days later. Read (1 Peter 3:18) (Acts 2:22-24) (Acts 13:26-38) (Philippians 2:6-11) (Matthew 27) (Matthew 28:1-20) (Mark 16:1-20) (Luke 24:1-8, 45-48) (John 20:1-31) (1 Corinthians 15) (Acts 1:1-11).
52. False teachers will tell you that in the Lords supper, Holy Communion, or the sacraments the believer receives forgiveness of your sins (Perry Stone, Chris Rosebrough).
People of the world when we believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ then and only then are, we saved. The bible teaches us that we are saved by the grace of God when we place our faith in Christ Jesus His Son, and we are saved by this gracious God of ours apart from all our works. Salvation in Christ is a free gift given by God unto to all men. Salvation is not by works nor can it ever be earned. We are not saved by God by what we do, we are saved by God by what Christ already did on that cross for us at Calvary. To be saved we must believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Finished means we cannot add anything to his perfect sacrifice for us on that cross. If we try to add anything to his finished work that is us saying that Jesus is not sufficient and powerful enough to save us by Himself. If we try to add anything to his finished work that is perverting the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Read (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 6:23) (Romans 4:5) (Titus 3:5) (Galatians 2:16, 21) (Romans 10:3-4) (Acts 13:38-39) (John 3:16, 36) (John 6:40, 47) (Acts 16:30-31) (Romans 3:25-26). The bible so plainly teaches us that Faith in Jesus alone saves. The bible makes it crystal clear that whosoever believes On The Son shall never perish but have everlasting life. Once saved always saved is indeed true and biblical. The bible is clear that believers in Jesus Christ can never lose their eternal salvation. We are not saved by taking The Lord Supper, Holy Communion or the sacraments. We are saved and are completely justified by our faith in Jesus and by our faith in Jesus alone. Read (John 3:16-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (Acts 16:30-31) (Romans 3:24-28).
53. False teachers will tell you that its Gods will for you to be financially wealthy.
Does the bible really teach that it is Gods will for every single believer to be financially wealthy? The answer is a resounding no. The bible says godliness with contentment is great gain. Read (1 Timothy 6:6-11) (Philippians 4:11-13) (Hebrews 13:5) (Acts 3:6). Let’s read together these bible truths in the word of God here below.
1 Timothy 6:6-11 (KJV)
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Final Charge to Timothy
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
Philippians 4:11-13 (NLT)
Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Hebrews 13:5 (NLT)
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
Acts 3:6 (KJV)
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Nowhere in the bible does it teach that all believers will be financially wealthy in this life (1 Timothy 6:6-11) (Philippians 4:11-13) (Acts 3:6) (Luke 18:18-30) (Matthew 10:39) (Matthew 16:25) (Mark 8:35) (Luke 9:24) (John 12:25). Nor does it say it is God will for you to be wealthy these teachings are a distortion and twisting of the scriptures. In fact, Jesus said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God (Luke 18:24-25). That is a very stark contrast to what these false prosperity teachers are preaching and promoting. The bible says its God will and command for you to believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. The bible says God does not want anyone to perish and that His will is for everyone to repent by turning to Jesus His Son for the forgiveness of their sins.
Read (1 John 3:23) (2 Peter 3:9) (Ezekiel 18:32)(John 8:24) (Luke 24:45-47).
54. False teachers will tell you that salvation, the forgiveness of sins, the atonement offering scams, miracles, healings, and the blessings of God are for sale (Perry Stone, Rod Parsley, Steve Munsey, Don Stewart, Peter Popoff, Benny Hinn, Jim Baker, Pat Robertson, Marcus and Joni Lamb, Paula White, and many more).
People of the world you must understand that salvation, the gifts, blessings, and miracles of God are not for sale. Those who tell you that Gods salvation, His gifts, His blessings and miracles are for sale are lying to you and are Charlatans. God loves you and is not in the business of charging you financially for his gifts or blessings. The bible teaches us that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a free gift of God given to all men and that this gospel is not for sale.
People of the world when we believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ then and only then are, we saved. And to get saved by Jesus Christ one does not need one penny (Acts 3:6) (Acts 16:30-31).
We are not saved by how much money is in our wallets or bank accounts. We are saved and are completely justified by our faith in Jesus and by our faith in Jesus alone. Read (John 3:16-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (Acts 16:30-31) (Romans 3:24-28).
55. False teachers will tell you that Jesus went into hell after his death and there he suffered in hellfire to further atone for our sins to ultimately secure our salvation (Joyce Meyers and many more).
Joyce Meyers and many other false teachers teach that after Jesus died, he went into hell, suffered in hellfire and was attacked by all the demons of hell. None of these teachings are found in scripture. Joyce also believes Jesus ceased to be God in hell. She believes Jesus died spiritually in hell.
She believes Jesus was born again in hell. She is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She is a blasphemous heretic! Run from her and her heretical False teachings! Anyone telling you that Jesus suffered in hellfire to further atone for our sins is lying to you and is teaching you blasphemous heresies.
The bible is clear that our eternal redemption in Christ was provided, paid for in full by Him, and won for us at the cross of Christ. Jesus said at the cross it is finished (John 19:30).
He did not say to be continued meaning I will continue suffering for your sake and for your sin’s atonement in hell. Run from anyone who tells you Jesus further suffered in hellfire to atone for our sins.
56. False teachers will tell you that we are not redeemed or saved by the real literal shed blood of Christ. Or some say it this way the blood of Christ is not efficacious for sin it is just a symbol (John MacArthur).
Not only does the Bible so clearly teach that we are redeemed by the real literal precious shed blood of Christ we are also redeemed by his atoning death on the cross for us. In other words, you cannot have one without the other and this is because in salvation both Jesus’ precious shed blood and his death on the cross for us was essential for our eternal redemption by a Holy God. Both are needed, both are distinct one from another, and both are essential for our eternal salvation. You cannot separate the blood of Christ from his atoning death on the cross for us for they both work together hand in hand in our eternal redemption. In other words, you cannot say we are saved by Jesus’ death but not by his blood. And in the same way you cannot say we are saved by Jesus’ blood and not his death. Both Jesus’ blood and his death are distinct one from another and both are essential to secure the sinners eternal salvation forever. Anyone telling you that we are not saved by the real literal precious shed blood of Christ is lying to you and is teaching you blasphemous heresies not found in scripture. If Jesus just died on the cross but He did not shed his blood, there would be no forgiveness for our sins. Why is this one may ask? This is because the bible teaches us that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for our sins.
In other words, people of the world the shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross for us was essential for our forgiveness of sins and for our salvation by a Holy God. Read (Hebrews 9:22) (Leviticus 17:11).
The bible is clear that we are justified freely by God’s grace through faith in Christ Jesus His Son.
The bible also teaches us that we are saved by the blood of Christ.
The bible also teaches us that we are saved by the atoning death of Christ on the cross for us.
All these 3 bible truths are tied together in our eternal salvation. Scriptures to prove all these bible truths here below.
Read (Ephesians 1: 7) (Ephesians 2:13) (Romans 3:24-26) (Romans 5:9) (1 Peter 1:18-19) (1 John 1:7) (1 John 2:1-2 ) (1 John 4:9-10) (Hebrews 9:12, 14, 22) (Colossians 1:14, 20-22) (Revelation 1:5) (Revelation 7:14) (Revelation 12:11) (Acts 20:28) (Hebrews 10:19) (Hebrews 13:12) (Matthew 26:28) (Leviticus 17:11) (Luke 22:20).
Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 2:13 (KJV)
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Romans 3:24-26 (KJV)
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 5:9 (KJV)
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
1 Peter 1:18-19 (KJV)
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Hebrews 9:22 (NLT)
In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.
Leviticus 17:11 (KJV)
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Colossians 1:14, 20-22 (KJV)
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Acts 20:28 (NLT)
“So, guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—,his church, purchased with his own blood—over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.
Revelation 1:5 (NLT)
and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world.
All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.
Revelation 12:11 (NLT)
And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb
and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much
that they were afraid to die.
57. False teachers will tell you it’s possible for you to be sinless in this life. They will say things like since Jesus is sinless this means you can be also (Joyce Meyers, Kris Valloton).
False teacher Joyce Meyers believes she is a little god. Believes she is divine. Believes that she’s not a sinner. That statement alone made by her contradicts so many scriptures (Romans 3:23) (1 John 1:8-10) (Ecclesiastes 7:20) (Psalm 51:5) (John 8:7) (Job 4:17) (Isaiah 6:5) (Isaiah 64:6) (Jeremiah 17:9) (Romans 7:18) (Ephesians 2:1-3) (Luke 5:8) (1 Timothy 1:15) (Philippians 3:9).
False teacher Joyce Meyers believes she is sinless! Kris Valloton also agrees with Joyce Meyers and believes its possible for Christians to achieve sinlessness in this life. For these people to say such a thing is no small statement. It is very deep for someone to say that they are sinless and actually believe it! The Apostle Paul never said he was sinless (1 Timothy 1:15) (Romans 7:18), The Apostle Peter never said he was sinless (Luke 5:8). Now let’s examine these false teachers’ statements further.
Not what does false teachers Joyce Meyers and Kris Valloton say what does the Word of God say? The word of God says all have sinned (Romans 3:23), and all do sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20) (1 John 1:8-10) (John 8:7) (Isaiah 6:5) it’s as plain and simple as that.
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Ecclesiastes 7:20 (KJV)
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
1 John 1:8-10 (NLT)
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
John 8:7 (KJV)
So, when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
No one threw a stone at her because no one is without sin! The revelation is that none of us are without sin! I don’t care who tells you otherwise. There is only one who is sinless and that is without sin and that is Jesus Christ himself who is God in the flesh
(1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:18-19) (1 Peter 2:22) (Hebrews 7:25-27) (John 1:1-3, 14) (John 20:28) (Colossians 1:15-20) (Philippians 2:6-11).
58. False Teachers will tell you that Christ Jesus did not die on the cross for all mankind. They will tell you Jesus did not die on the cross for every single individual person.
What does the true gospel of Jesus Christ say?
The true gospel says Jesus himself voluntarily offered his own body that is on the cross for us all to be saved. Read (1 Peter 2:24) (Ephesians 5:2) (John 15:13) (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) (Romans 5:6) (Romans 8:32) (Titus 2:14) (Hebrews 10:10) (1 John 2:1-2). The true gospel says Jesus shed his blood on the cross for us all.
The true gospel says Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the whole world. Read (1 John 2:1-2) (Ephesians 1:7).
1 John 2:1-2 (KJV)
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 2:1-2 (NLT)
My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
How can you possibly misinterpret or misunderstand the meaning of the word “the whole world” (1 John 2:1-2). The Bible goes on to say that Jesus tasted death “for every man” (Hebrews 2:9). The Bible goes on to say that “Jesus gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone and that He gave himself as a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:4-6). How can you possibly dismiss, deny, or ignore these precious keywords of God? For this is all indeed sound bible doctrine.
The bible is clear that Jesus tasted death for every man.
Hebrews 2:9 (KJV)
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:9 (NLT)
What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.
The bible is clear Jesus gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone and that He gave himself as a ransom for all”
1 Timothy 2:4-6 (KJV)
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; ,Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1 Timothy 2:4-6 (NLT)
who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.
The bible is clear that God was in Christ reconciling the whole world to himself. This is an amazing revelation of The Spirit of God.
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (NLT)
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
Colossians 1:19—22 (NLT)
For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
God wants to reconcile sinful humanity unto himself. Why? Because God is a reconciler, He is a restorer and because He truly loves us.
People of the world the bible is clear that Jesus died on the cross for all of mankind. The bible is crystal clear that Jesus Christ has indeed died on the cross for the sins of the whole world. Read
(1 Timothy 2:3-6) (1 John 2:1-2) (1 Corinthians 15:21-22) (2 Corinthians 5:13-15) (Hebrews 2:9) (Titus 3:4-6) (1 Timothy 4:9-10) (Romans 5:6-8, 15-18) (Romans 10:1-4) (John 1:12, 29) (1 Peter 3:18) (John 3:16-18) (John 4:42) (John 8:24) (1 John 4:14) (Colossians 1:19-20) (2 Peter 3:9) (1 Timothy 1:15) (Romans 10:9-13).
59. False Teachers will deny the Deity and Supremacy of Christ. They will deny that Jesus is God and The Lord of the whole universe.
Jesus was God, is God, and always will be God. The bible teaches us that Jesus pre - existed as God before He came to this earth in human flesh. Jesus is God and always will be God. Jesus never at any time ceased to be God.
We reject the blasphemous heresies that teach Jesus laid his divinity aside. The bible clearly teaches us that Jesus is God and The Lord of the whole universe.
Read (John 8:58) (John 20:28) (Hebrews. 1:8) (John 1:1-3; 14) (Colossians 1:15-19) (1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:19) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (Hebrews 7:25-27).
60. False teachers will deny the incarnation and the supernatural miraculous virgin birth of Christ. They will deny His incarnation and or they will deny that He is the only one in all of existence that has had a virgin birth.
Jesus Christ is the only one who had a supernatural miraculous virgin birth (Matthew 1:18-25) (Luke 1:26-35). This is why He is the only one who is sinless, (and therefore He is the only one who qualify’s to be man’s sinless Savior and Redeemer).
No one other than Jesus Christ himself has had or ever will have a supernatural miraculous virgin birth. The Birth of Jesus was a supernatural act of a Holy God! It can never be duplicated. King Jesus is unique above all others.
The bible says that all human beings on this earth are born into sin (Psalm 51:5). Well, Jesus was not the result of sexual intercourse between a husband and his wife.
If He had been, his blood would have been tainted and defiled by sin. Why is this one may ask? This is because all are sinners this includes Joseph and Mary.
Mary was a virgin and never had sex with any man before Jesus was born. This means she was pregnant with Jesus without performing any sexual relations of any kind.
God himself is the One who placed Jesus His Son inside Mary’s womb. Read (Genesis 3:14-15) (John 1:14-18) (John 3:16) (Hebrews 2:14) (Galatians 4:4-5) (Matthew 1:18-25) (Luke 1:26-35).
61. False Teachers will deny the Pre- existent Christ. They will tell you that Jesus did not pre- exist as God before His incarnation and before He came into this world.
The bible so clearly teaches us about The pre - existent Christ. This means Jesus existed as God before His incarnation. This means Jesus was God before He came into this earth in human flesh. This is because Jesus is not a created being, He always existed from eternity past, and He always existed because He’s God.
The Bible tells us that God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus came down from Heaven. He did not come from this earth. The Holy Scriptures in (Colossians 1:15) tells us that He Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. Did you really understand that biblical truth? Wow what an amazing revelation from the Spirit of God!
He (Jesus) came from God the Father (John 1:14) (John 6:46) (John 7:29) (John 8:42) (John 13:1-3) (John 16:30-31) (John 17:1-8). This is because if you've seen Jesus you've seen God! For Jesus is God in the flesh (John 1:1-3, 14) (Philippians 2:6-11) (John 20:28) (Hebrews 1:8). Jesus said, "If you've seen me you've seen the Father (John 14:7-11)." Why? This is because He (Jesus Christ) is the visible image of the invisible God. Read (Colossians 1:15).
It’s very important to understand that Jesus was God before His incarnation, and it’s also just as important to understand that He Jesus came down from heaven
(John 3:13) (John 6:38). Combining these two biblical truths from Scripture you will then understand why and how Jesus alone is sinless. For example, why is Jesus sinless one may ask? He’s sinless because He is God in human flesh,
and He is the epitome of glorious perfection. For example, a person may ask how then Is Jesus sinless If he was born from a sinful woman named Mary? He is sinless because He did not come from Mary,
He came from God the Father out of heaven. God the Father is the one by His Spirit that placed Jesus His Son into Mary’s womb. So that which was born out of her womb would be The Son of the most High God (Luke 1:26-35)!
Jesus was/is sinless God wrapped up in human flesh! Read (John 8:58) (John 17:5, 24) (John 20:28) (Hebrews. 1:8) (John 1:1-3; 14) (Colossians 1:15-19) (1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:19) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (Hebrews 7:3, 25-27) (Revelation 22:13).
62. False Teachers will deny the fact that Jesus is The One and Only Savior of the whole world.
Jesus is The One and Only Savior. This means Jesus is not a Savior this means He is The Savior. Jesus is not one of many saviors He is The Only Savior who saves sinners. Not only is Jesus The One and Only Savior He is The One and Only Savior of the whole world.
Read (Acts 4:12) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (John 3:16, 36) (John 4:42) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 8:24) (1 John 2:1-2) (1 John 4:14) (1 John 5:11-13) (1 Timothy 1:15) (Galatians 2:16).
Acts 4:12 (KJV)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved
63. False teachers will deny the fact that Jesus is the one and only mediator between God and men.
The bible so clearly teaches us that Jesus is The One and Only Mediator between God and men. Read (1 Timothy 2:4-6).
1 Timothy 2:4-6 (NLT)
who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.
64. False teachers will tell you that Jesus literally, physically and bodily died on the cross more than one time.
The bible clearly teaches us that Jesus voluntarily, literally, and physically died on the cross for our sins one time and one time only. Read (Romans 6:9-10) (Hebrews 9:11-28) (Hebrews 10:1-18) (1 Peter 3:18).
65. False teachers do not worship Jesus and they will tell you that you shouldn’t worship Jesus either.
The bible clearly teaches us that Jesus Christ should be and must be Worshipped and this is because He is God. Read (Matthew 2:11) (Matthew 14:33) (Matthew 28:9, 17) (John 9:38) (Luke 24:45-52) (John 20:24-31) (Hebrews 1:5-6) (John 5:23) (John 14:6) (John 20:28) (Revelation 19:10) (Philippians 2:6-11).
66. False teachers will tell you that you will have another chance to hear the gospel after death.
This is a lie from the pits of hell. The bible is crystal clear that after death you will not have another chance for salvation or another chance to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ that saves sinful men. Once you die your eternal fate is sealed forever. If you genuinely believed in Christ, you will go to heaven and have everlasting life. However, if you didn’t believe in Christ you will not go to heaven you will go to an eternal hell forevermore. Read (Luke 16:19-31) (Hebrews 9:27) (John 8:24) (Revelation 21:8).
Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
John 8:24 (NLT)
That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.
67. False teachers will tell you that you can be saved by God apart from faith in Jesus (Billy Graham, John Hagee, Carl Lentz, TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, Rob bell, Carlton Pearson, and many more).
The bible is clear that apart from faith in Jesus it’s impossible for a sinful unregenerate man to please God or to be saved by God. Read (John 8:24) (John 3:18, 36) (Hebrews 11:6) (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9) (Revelation 21:8) .
John 3:18, 36 (KJV)
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 8:24 (NLT)
That is why I said that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.
68. False teachers believe in purgatory.
False teachers believe in purgatory. The reason they believe this is because they don’t understand nor believe in the true biblical gospel of grace. And because they don’t believe in the gospel of grace they have not yet believed in the biblical Christ and thus they are not saved. If you believe in purgatory it automatically shows you don’t believe in the finished work of Christ. You cannot believe in purgatory and in the finished work of Christ at the same time. If you believe in purgatory, you do not believe in the finished work of Christ. And if you truly believe in the finished work of Christ you will not believe in purgatory. However, If you still insist on believing in purgatory it shows you truly do not believe nor understand that Jesus paid the full penalty already for all our sins on that cross. There are no more sins to be paid for because our Savior Jesus paid it all. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for the believer in Christ. So, if you truly believe Jesus paid the full price for all our sins at the cross what then is the need for purgatory? Besides all this purgatory is not a biblical teaching. Purgatory is taught nowhere in the Bible. And since purgatory is not in the bible why are you believing things that’s not in the bible?
69. False teachers will always frontload, or backload works into salvation. They simply will not accept that faith in Jesus The Savior alone saves and is enough for your salvation.
When one frontloads or backloads works into salvation this simply means they add works, laws, or good deeds to faith in Jesus for salvation. So, they will say something like this: Yes, you need to have faith in Jesus for salvation, but you also need to keep the 10 commandments and get baptized in physical water in order to truly be soundly saved. Do you see what they just did? They just added works and good deeds to faith in Christ. In other words, false teachers simply will not accept that faith in Jesus is all that is required for sinful men to be saved by a Holy God. They will always tell you that you must do something else in addition to your faith in Christ to be saved by God.
Not what do false teachers say. What does the bible say? Does the bible teach that faith in Jesus is enough and is the only thing required for a sinner to be saved by God? Yes, it does.
Faith in Jesus alone saves. The bible makes it crystal clear that whosoever believes On The Son shall never perish but have everlasting life. Once saved always saved is indeed true and biblical. The bible is clear that believers in Jesus Christ can never lose their eternal salvation. Read (John 3:14-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (John 20:31) (Acts 16:30-31) (1 John 5:11-13).
70. False teachers and false Christ’s will proclaim that they themselves are Christ in human flesh (Sun Myung Moon, the pope, Kenneth Copeland, Morris Cerullo).
The bible clearly tells us that Jesus is The Only Begotten Son of God The One and Only Holy Divine Messiah! The bible teaches us that He is God, He is Unique and there is no one like him. Jesus himself has claimed and proven to be The One and Only Christ. Read (John 3:16-18) (John 4:25-26) (1 John 2:22-23) (1 John 3:23-24) (1 John 4:1-6, 14-15) (1 John 5:1-13, 20) (Matthew 3:16-17) (Matthew 14:33) (Matthew 17:5) (Matthew 26:62-64) (Luke 1:26-38) (John 8:23-25).
71. False teachers will tell you that God and or the Messiah is a woman.
The Pre - existent Christ.
The Holy Scriptures tells us that in Him Christ we have redemption through his blood even the forgiveness of sins. The bible also tells us that He Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:14-15) (Ephesians 1:7).
The bible goes into detail to teach us that Christ Jesus The Messiah is a man. Yes, Jesus is both 100% God and 100% man at the same time. Jesus is The Godman. Yes, Jesus is indeed God in human flesh. Read (1 Timothy 2:4-6) (Matthew 1:21) (John 1:1-3, 14) (Acts 4:12) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38). To say that God and or the Messiah is a woman is outright heresy it is a false teaching that’s simply found nowhere in Scripture.
72. False Teachers will tell you that you don’t need saving and therefore you don’t need Jesus at all for salvation.
The bible makes it crystal clear that all people are sinners (Romans 3:23) who are lost in sin, dead in sin (Ephesians 2), and enslaved to sin (John 8:34) apart from His Son Jesus Christ. The bible makes it clear that all people are wicked depraved sinners whose hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). The depravity of man is truly unfathomable. The bible says that humans are depraved, wicked and sinful (Jeremiah 17:9) (Romans 3:23). The bible says God is holy, sinless, perfect, and righteous and you are not (1 Samuel 2:2) (Psalm 99:5) (Psalm 116:5) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (1 John 3:5) (Job 4:17) (Psalm 51:5) (Jeremiah 17:9) (Romans 3:23). You are none of those attributes apart from Jesus Christ. Apart from Christ Jesus you are dead in sin (Ephesians 2), sinful and lost (Romans 3:23) (Matthew 18:11). Because all these sound bible teachings are indeed true, man cannot save himself. Therefore, this means man desperately needs a Savior to save him from his own depraved sinful condition. The bible declares that Jesus is the sinner’s Savior who came into the world to save sinful man (1 Timothy 1:15) (John 3:16). The bible teaches that Jesus is the one and only mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:4-6). Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6). God himself has only chosen, anointed, appointed, and approved of Jesus His Son to be the one and only Savior of the world (John 6:27Therefore, reject this prideful blasphemous teaching that says you do not need salvation from Jesus The Savior. Recognize that you are a sinner who desperately needs the Savior Jesus to be saved from the eternal penalty of your sins. Call on the name of the Lord Jesus to save you and you will be saved (Romans 3:23) (Romans 6:23) (John 14:6) (John 3:16) (Acts 16:30-31) (Romans 10:9-13) (Galatians 2:16).
73. False teachers will tell you that our salvation is sealed by water baptism (Max Lucado).
This is a false teaching and its completely unbiblical. The bible does not teach that we are sealed by water baptism! The bible says the very moment we believe in Jesus as Savior we are sealed by The Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14) (Ephesians 4:30) (2 Corinthians 1:21-22) (2 Corinthians 5:5). Again, I say we are not sealed by water baptism we are sealed by God The Holy Spirit only when we believe in Jesus as Savior.
74. False teachers will tell you that water baptism is an initial sign of being saved (Max Lucado).
This too is a false teaching. Water baptism is not an initial sign of being saved. They’re people who get baptized in physical water everyday who truly don’t believe in Jesus at all and these people are not saved. So just because one gets baptized in water does not automatically mean that they are saved. Some people get baptized in physical water just for the sake of traditions. Baptism does not save anyone. It is a specific unique person that we all need. Jesus Christ is his name He alone is the sinners Savior and He alone is all we need for salvation. Once we place our faith in Jesus we are completely justified by a Holy God and are forgiven of all our sins (Romans 3:23-28) (Galatians 2:16) (Romans 1:16-17). If you don’t truly believe in the finished work of Christ on that cross for you then you should not get baptized in water because it will not benefit you. Baptism in water is something you do after you believe in Christ not before. And since baptism in water does not save you this means it cannot be an initial sign of being saved. When you believe in Jesus The Savior for your salvation you receive everlasting life by Him right then and there on the spot immediately and instantaneously and can never perish. The bible is clear that faith in Jesus alone is all that is essential for salvation (Acts 16:30-31) (John 3:14-18, 36) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (John 20:31) (1 John 5:11-13) (Luke 7:50) (Galatians 2:16) (Romans 4:5) (Luke 19:1-10) (Luke 23:32-43).
75. False teachers will tell you that water baptism is an initial test of a believing heart (Max Lucado).
This too is a false teaching. Water baptism is not an initial test of a believing heart. This is because no one is saved by water baptism. Water baptism has absolutely nothing to do with receiving eternal salvation! Just because a person gets water baptized does not necessarily mean they believe in the biblical Christ. And if you do not believe in the biblical Christ you will not be saved by God. If you don’t truly believe in the finished work of Christ on that cross for you then you should not get baptized in water because it will not benefit you. Baptism in water is something you do after you believe in Christ not before. They’re people who get water baptized who truly don’t believe in the biblical Christ at all therefore baptism in water cannot be an initial test of a believing heart.
76. False teachers will tell you that once saved always saved is not true and biblical.
Faith in Jesus alone saves. The bible makes it crystal clear that whosoever believes On The Son shall never perish but have everlasting life. Once saved always saved is indeed true and biblical. The bible is clear that believers in Jesus Christ can never lose their eternal salvation never. Read (John 3:14-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (John 20:31) (Acts 16:30-31) (1 John 5:11-13).
77. False teachers will tell you that believers in Jesus Christ can be plucked out of God The Fathers Hand.
John 10:27-30 (KJV) says,
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
Do you really understand what Jesus is saying in these bible verses? Jesus is saying his sheep those who believe in Him are eternally secure in His hands and in His Father’s Hands. Yes, the believer in Christ is secure in The eternal Holy Hands of God The Father and God The Son! Amazing! Powerful!
It just doesn’t get any plainer and clearer than that.
78. False teachers will tell you that Jesus and Christ are not one in the same. These false teachers will tell you that Jesus and Christ are two separate people! In other words, false teachers do not believe Jesus is Christ and Christ is Jesus (Ron Carpenter)!
They will say things like Jesus is not the anointed One Christ is! Or they say things like Jesus the man is in Heaven but Christ the anointing or anointed one is here on the earth (Ron Carpenter). This is nonsense and all of it is unbiblical and comes from the very pits of hell. The bible clearly tells us that Jesus is The Christ and The Christ is Jesus. They are indeed the same person! Read (Acts 18:28) (John 20:31). This proves Jesus was/is Christ and Christ was/is Jesus.
The bible clearly tells us that Jesus is The Only Begotten Son of God The One and Only Holy Divine Messiah! The bible teaches us that He is God's Son, He is Unique and there is no one like him. Read (John 3:16-18) (John 4:25-26) (1 John 2:18-27) (1 John 3:23-24) (1 John 4:1-6, 14-15) (1 John 5:1-13, 20) (Matthew 3:16-17) (Matthew 14:33) (Matthew 17:5) (Matthew 26:62-64) (Luke 1:26-38) (John 8:23-25).
79. False teachers will tell you that heaven and hell are metaphors in the bible. In other words, they will tell you that heaven and hell are not real literal eternal places where one spends eternity after death (Mary Baker Eddy, Christian Science).
The bible clearly teaches us that no one will be saved by God apart from faith in Christ. Annihilationism is not true. After death all unbelievers in Christ will go to this literal eternal place called hell where they will be consciously tormented forever in the lake of fire for their unbelief in The Holy Son of God Jesus Christ. Read (John 3:18, 36) (John 8:24) (Luke 16:19-31) (Matthew 13:42,50) (Matthew 25:41) (Revelation 20:15) (Revelation 21:8).
80. False teachers will tell you that you do not have to be born again to be saved by God.
The bible is clear that we must be born again to be saved by God. Only those who believe in the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Christ Jesus are born again and thus are the true children of God. This means if you do not believe in the biblical Jesus you are not born again and If you are not born again you are not a child of God (Galatians 3:26) (John 1:12) (John 3:3-7, 16-18) (John 8:24) (1 John 5:1) (Romans 8:14, 29).
81. False teachers do not believe that all humans are sinful and are sinners.
The bible teaches us that all our righteousness in it of ourselves are as filthy rags. The bible teaches us that no one is righteous in it of ourselves. The bible teaches us we have no righteousness of our own. Moreover, the bible so plainly teaches us that we cannot save ourselves from our own sinful condition. The bible teaches us that all humans on earth are born into sin, all human hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked, and all humans on earth are sinners. Because all these bible truths are indeed true this is why we need The Divine Christ to save us (Psalm 51:5) (Jeremiah 17:9) (Isaiah 64:6) (Romans 3:10-31) (Job 4:17) (Ephesians 2:1-3) (Philippians 2:9) (Galatians 2:16, 21) (John 3:3-7) (1 Timothy 1:15).
82. False teachers do not believe all humans hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked.
The bible clearly teaches us that all humans hearts are indeed deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). Because this bible truth is indeed true, this is precisely the reason why we must all be born again by Jesus to be able to enter the kingdom of God.
83. False teachers will tell you that you have to do works, good deeds, keep laws, perform, strive, persevere, or wait to receive your salvation.
Here’s the revelation of The Spirit of God: The price for your salvation has already been paid for and won by Jesus at the cross therefore you do not have to wait to receive eternal life by Him. You just need to believe On Christ and once you do so you have just passed from death into life and have received eternal life right then and there on the spot the very moment you believe in Jesus (John 5:24). The very moment you believe in Jesus you become instantaneously a child of the living God (Galatians 3:26) (John 1:12-13). Once you truly understand this biblical truth you will truly see how major of a revelation this is by The Spirit of God. Stop striving and trying to earn your salvation by doing good deeds and just believe in the finished work of The Savior Jesus Christ at that cross. God doesn’t save you because your good, God saves you because He’s Good. God doesn’t save you because you’re a good person nothing could be further from the truth. God saves you because He loves you and is Sovereignly and graciously choosing to save you graciously through Christ Jesus His Son The Savior. False teachers will have you believing salvation is a process. It is not! Salvation is indeed instantaneous it is instant. It happens the very moment we believe in Jesus Christ The Son of God. People of the world salvation is not a process. Again, it happens instantaneously. Salvation is received not achieved. Salvation is a free Gift given to us by God himself through our faith in the person of His Son Jesus Christ. Salvation is all grace and none of us. Salvation is grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Again, I say salvation is not earned it is received by faith (John 1:12) (Romans 6:23) (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 4:5) (Galatians 2:16) (Romans 1:16-17).
84. False teachers will tell you repenting of every one of your sins is necessary before you can be saved by God?
Faith in Jesus alone saves. The bible makes it crystal clear that whosoever believes On The Son shall never perish but have everlasting life. Once saved always saved is indeed true and biblical. The bible is clear that believers in Jesus Christ can never lose their eternal salvation never. All a sinner has to do to be saved by God is to believe in Jesus. Read (John 3:14-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (John 20:31) (Acts 16:30-31) (1 John 5:11-13).
85. False teachers will tell you that it’s possible to achieve the status of godhood? They will tell you that you can become gods in the future (Mormonism).
It is amazing to me that one will truly say and believe that they are God's themselves! Such thinking just further proves God's word as true that says humans are depraved, wicked and sinful (Jeremiah 17:9) (Romans 3:23). It's a shame I have to say this but people of the world you are not God! God is holy, sinless, perfect, and righteous and you are not (1 Samuel 2:2) (Psalm 99:5) (Psalm 116:5) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (1 John 3:5) (Job 4:17) (Psalm 51:5) (Jeremiah 17:9) (Romans 3:23). No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). God himself has only chosen, anointed, appointed, and approved of Jesus His Son to be the one and only Savior of the world (John 6:27). Therefore, reject this prideful blasphemous teaching that is sweeping our nation that says you are God.
86. False teachers will tell you that Jews will be saved by God By keeping the Torah (John Hagee).
The bible clearly teaches us that no one is saved by God by keeping the law (Galatians 2:16-21) (Galatians 3:14-29) (James 2:10) (Romans 3:23-31) (Acts 13:38-39) (Romans 10:3-4). The bible so clearly teaches us that no one will be saved by God apart from faith in Christ Jesus His Son. Faith in Jesus alone saves. The bible makes it crystal clear that whosoever believes On The Son shall never perish but have everlasting life. It is our faith in Jesus alone that saves us and grants us eternal life. No one will be saved by God because they are keeping the Torah. Read (John 3:14-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (John 20:31) (Acts 16:30-31) (1 John 5:11-13).
87. False teachers believe In Chrislam. Chrislam is the false teaching and belief that Christians, Catholics, and Muslims all worship the same God.
Christians, and Muslims do not worship the same God. Christians believe and know that Jesus is God who died on the cross for our sins. Muslims do not believe this. Because Christians know and believe that Jesus is God, they worship Him. Muslims on the other hand do not worship Jesus as God therefore we do not worship the same God!
Christians and Catholics do not worship the same God neither. Christians worship Jesus for who He is God and for what He has done for us guilty sinners there at the cross, Catholics worship many people. Catholics worship Mary they pray to her and ask for her intercession. Catholics worship and pray to dead saints, Catholics idolize and venerate the pope and believe He is sinless and divine. Born again believers in Christ do not worship Mary, dead saints nor the pope. Born again believers Have the Spirit of Truth (The Holy Spirit) dwelling inside them so they know that Jesus is the only way to God The Father, heaven, and eternal life. Born again believers in Christ know and understand that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and men. Born again believers in Christ know and understand that Jesus Christ is the One and Only Savior of the world. Therefore, because they know these bible truths from scripture, they will not Worship Mary, dead saints, nor the pope. For the Christian all the glory, worship and praise go to Jesus and to Jesus alone. This cannot be said of Muslims nor Catholics. And because of this truth, this reveals we do not all worship the same God. For If we all worshiped the same God, we would all be looking unto God’s Son Jesus alone who is our Savior, Author and Finisher of our faith. For the Muslim his hope is in Allah or Muhammed, for the Catholic their hope is in Mary, dead saints, and or the pope. For the Christian our hope rests, relies on and remains in Christ Jesus and in Christ Jesus alone. Jesus Christ is the very foundation for every true believer in Him. Every true believer stands on, relies on, rests on Christ, who is the Chief Cornerstone. We believers are found in Christ and we are founded on Christ Himself. Yes, Christ Jesus himself is the believers Chief Cornerstone (1 Peter 2:4-8) (Acts 4:10-12) (Ephesians 2:19-22) (Isaiah 28:16) (Romans 9:33) (Psalm 118:22).
The bible is clear that Jesus is God and The Lord of the whole universe and because of this He alone is worthy of worship (John 8:58) (John 17:5, 24) (John 20:28) (Hebrews. 1:8) (John 1:1-3; 14) (Colossians 1:15-19) (1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:19) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (Hebrews 7:3, 25-27) (Revelation 22:13).
88. False teachers will tell you that God has no Son (Muslims).
God indeed has a Son and His name is Jesus. The bible clearly tells us that Jesus is The Eternal Only Begotten Son of God The One and Only Holy Divine Messiah!
89. False teachers will tell you to pray to dead saints (Catholicism).
Many Catholics worship and pray to dead saints. Many Catholics worship Mary more than they do Jesus. Whether you know it or not, whenever you pray to someone you are declaring that person or being whoever your praying unto is God. So, for example if you pray to Mary you are declaring that Mary is God and divine.
We must ask ourselves this question? Who does the bible declare to be God? What is God’s name?
The bible tells us to worship only God (Revelation 19:10). The bible clearly teaches us that Jesus is God and The Lord of the whole universe.Read (Exodus 3:14) (John 8:58) (John 14:1) (John 20:28) (Hebrews. 1:8) (John 1:1-3; 14) (Colossians 1:15-19) (1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:19) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (Hebrews 7:25-27) (Philippians 2:6-11) (Revelation 22:13). The bible also tells us that salvation is found in one name and in one name alone Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).
90. False teachers do not believe Jesus is The only one who has the authority on earth to forgive sins (Catholicism).
Because this is indeed true this makes confessional useless and unbiblical because no one on earth has the authority or power given to him by God to forgive sins other than Jesus Christ himself. Again I say the bible clearly teaches us that Jesus Christ is the only one who has been given the authority by God The Father to forgive you of your sins (Matthew 9:6) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (1 John 2:12) (John 5:24) (John 14:6) (Matthew 28:17-19).
91. False teachers do not believe Jesus is the only one who can take away our sins. They believe they’re many other people who can do this too.
The bible clearly teaches us that Jesus Christ is indeed the only one who can take away our sins (John 1:29-36).
92. False teachers do not believe in the sinless nature, life, and ministry of Christ.
Jesus was sinless, is sinless, and always will be sinless. Jesus never sinned at any time! The bible clearly teaches us that Jesus Christ is the only human being who is God, divine, and sinless all at the same time. Yes, Jesus Christ is sinless, blameless, perfect, flawless holy, untainted by sin and set apart from sinners. Read (John 20:28) (Hebrews. 1:8) (John 1:1-3; 14) (John 8:46) (Colossians 1:15-19) (1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:18-19) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (Hebrews 7:25-27).
93. False Teachers will tell you that Jesus Christ is not equal to God.
The bible indeed teaches us that Jesus Christ is equal to God The Father (John 10:30) (Philippians 2:6-11) (John 1:1, 14) (John 5:23) (John 14:1-2, 6) (John 17:1-5) (Colossians 3:17) (Revelation 1:5-8).
94. False teachers will tell you God did not manifest himself in the flesh. False teachers will tell you that God did not become a man in the person of Jesus Christ. False teachers and false prophets do not believe God became human.
The bible clearly teaches us that God manifested himself in the flesh. The bible says God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus is God in the flesh. The bible so clearly teaches us that Jesus is 100% God and is 100% man at the same time. Jesus Christ is The Godman. This is a fact of Scripture that cannot be debated (John 1:1-3; 14) (John 20:28) (Philippians 2:6-11) (1 John 4:1-6) (Hebrews 1:8).
95. False teachers will tell believers in Christ that The Holy Spirit will leave you if you sin and or backslide.
Believers in Jesus Christ are sealed by The Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption and are kept saved not by their own strength or doing, the bible teaches us that we are kept saved graciously and mercifully by the power of God (Ephesians 1:13-14) (Ephesians 4:30) (2 Corinthians 1:21-22) (2 Corinthians 5:5) (1 Peter 1:5).
96. False teachers will tell you God does not love all people.
The bible teaches us that God is love and that He loves all people (John 3:16) (1 John 4:9-10).
97. False teachers will tell you God does not want all men to be saved.
The bible clearly teaches us that God wants all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. The bible teaches us that God wants all men to come to repentance by believing in His Son Jesus. Yes, this is His will and desire for all men (1 Timothy 2:4-6)(John 3:16, 36) (John 6:40, 47) (2 Peter 3:9) (Luke 24:45-47).
98. False teachers will tell you that The Saviors real name is not Jesus. They will tell you that you shouldn’t call Jesus Lord, Savior, Christ, or God (Black Hebrew Israelites).
The bible tells us Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-13) (John 20:28) (Philippians 2:6-11).
The bible tells us Jesus is Savior (Acts 4:12) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (John 3:16, 36) (John 4:42) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 8:24) (1 John 2:1-2) (1 John 4:14) (1 John 5:11-13) (1 Timothy 1:15) (Galatians 2:16).
The bible tells us Jesus is The Christ The One and Only Holy Divine Messiah (John 3:16-18) (John 4:25-26) (1 John 2:18-27) (1 John 3:23-24) (1 John 4:1-6, 14-15) (1 John 5:1-13, 20) (Matthew 3:16-17) (Matthew 14:33) (Matthew 17:5) (Matthew 26:62-64) (Luke 1:26-38) (John 8:23-25).
The bible tells us Jesus is God (John 1:1-3; 14) (John 20:28) (Philippians 2:6-11) (Colossians 1:15-20) (1 John 4:1-6) (Hebrews 1:8).
Furthermore, the bible tells us that salvation is found in no other name but the name of Jesus. This is God’s way of proving to the whole universe that Jesus His Son is unique and is greater than all others. This is because everyone must come to Jesus to be saved by God (Acts 4:12) (John 20:31) (1 John 5:11-13) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (John 10:9) (John 14:6). God The Father has elevated His Son Jesus to the place of Highest honor seated at his right-hand side. This is God proving to the whole universe that Jesus His Son is unique and is greater than all others (Philippians 2:6-11) (Mark 12:36) (Luke 22:69) (Acts 7:55-56) (Romans 8:34) (Ephesians 1:20-21) (Colossians 3:1) (Hebrews 1:3) (Hebrews 8:1) (Hebrews 10:12) (Hebrews 12:2) (1 Peter 3:22). Jesus’ Name is above every other name, title, and authority in this age and in the age to come. Jesus’ Name is Superior than all angels. God The Father tells all angels and everyone else for that matter to worship Jesus His Son. Jesus’ name is above all angels, all living created creatures in heaven, all humans, and all demons. This is God proving to the whole universe that Jesus His Son is unique and is greater than all others (Hebrews 1:1-14) (1 Peter 3:22 ) (Ephesians 1:9-10, 20-21). Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Christ Jesus is Lord to the glory of God The Father. This is God proving to the whole universe that Jesus His Son is unique and is greater than all others (Philippians 2:-6-11).
99. False teachers will tell you Mary is a divine Intercessor.
The bible teaches us that born-again believers in Christ have dual divine intercessors in God The Son Jesus and God The Holy Spirit interceding for us on our behalf. These are the only intercessors the bible mentions for the believer in Christ. And furthermore, they are the only intercessors we need. For who can intercede for us better than God can?
This dual intercession of God keeps the believer secure in Christ. This dual intercession of God on our behalf is God proving to us yet again that we as believers in Christ are secure in him and can never lose our salvation (Romans 8:26-27, 34). Again, I say the bible only mentions God The Son Jesus and God The Holy Spirit as being our only divine intercessors. Nowhere in the bible is Mary mentioned as being any intercessor let alone a divine one and this is because Mary was a created being a sinner who was merely human!
100. False teachers will tell you that Gods grace is not enough to save you.
This is a lie from the pits of Hell. The grace of God is so amazing, and it is indeed powerful! The bible says God’s grace is sufficient. The bible says we are saved by grace through faith and that it is a gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). And since the bible says we are saved (past tense) by grace that means it’s a done deal as far as God is concerned. We are not hoping to be saved by Gods grace. The bible teaches that when we believe in Jesus as Savior at that very moment, He God saves us graciously by His grace when we believe. Again, I say His grace is indeed enough to save and eternally secure all those who trust in His Son Jesus.
101. False teachers mistakenly or purposefully mixes works, good deeds, laws, sanctification, and or discipleship into salvation..
Salvation is received (John 1:12) and not achieved. Salvation is not achieved by works or by the doing of good deeds. Salvation is not found in the law nor does righteousness come from the law (Galatians 2:16-21). Salvation is not sanctification, and salvation is not discipleship. Salvation is achieved because of one’s faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and bodily resurrection. The only thing required for salvation is faith in Jesus. Faith in Jesus alone saves. The bible makes it crystal clear that whosoever believes On The Son shall never perish but have everlasting life. Once saved always saved is indeed true and biblical. The bible is clear that believers in Jesus Christ can never lose their eternal salvation never. All a sinner must do to be saved by God is to believe in Jesus. Read (John 3:14-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 10:27-30) (John 20:31) (Acts 16:30-31) (1 John 5:11-13). False teachers simply do not grasp and understand this, and they refuse to trust and believe in the simplicity of the gospel.
102. False teachers burden people down will laws, laws, and more laws.
False teachers burden people down with rules and expectations that are impossible for anyone to keep let alone a sinner. False teachers burden people down with the strictest obedience, regulations, and the false traditions of men. False teachers will preach a false gospel and therefore making it impossible for anyone to be saved by their false teachings. Salvation is achieved because of one’s faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and bodily resurrection. The only thing required for salvation is faith in Jesus. False teachers don’t teach this, yet this is what is true, and this is precisely what the bible teaches. The bible teaches us that Faith in Jesus alone saves.
103. False teachers will tell you that as long as you believe Jesus was a real person who existed, you will be saved by God.
Knowledge about Jesus will not save you. The demons believe Jesus was a real person who existed, and they know that Jesus is God are they saved (James 2:19)?
No, they are not. You must not just believe that Jesus was a real person who existed. Of course, Jesus truly existed this is a bible fact and a historical one.
Just believing Jesus existed who was a real person will not save you. The bible teaches us that we must believe in who Jesus is and believe what he has done for us there at that cross.
Who is Jesus one may ask? He is The Only Begotten Son of God. What did he do for us on the cross one may ask? He voluntarily offered his own life shedding his own blood,
Jesus died on that cross for us to be the atoning sacrifice that takes away our sins. The bible teaches us that sinners are made right in Gods sight and are forgiven of all their sins when they believe in Jesus as Savior (Romans 3:23-28).
Believe that Jesus is Gods Holy Son, believe that he died on cross for your sins, was buried and rose again on the third day and you will be saved by a Holy God
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4) (Philippians 2:6-11) (John 3:14-18) (John 5:24) (John 6:40, 47) (John 7:50) (John 20:31) (1 John 5:11-13).
Again, I say bible knowledge about Jesus will not save you. You can memorize the whole bible but If you don’t believe in Jesus as the means through which God saves you, you will not be saved by God.
The bible teaches us that there is nothing that you or I can ever do to be saved by God apart from faith in Christ (Hebrews 11:6).
Salvation is personal. Yes, it is true that Jesus is The Son of God who died on the cross to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.
But you must personally believe that Jesus died on that cross to pay the price for your sins. That makes it personal for you.
And until you truly believe, and trust Jesus died on that cross for you and for your sins, you will not be saved by God.
The Bible says Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness
(Romans 4:1-3).
The bible teaches us that the righteous are justified by faith
(Romans 4:1-3).
The bible teaches us that no one is saved by works or good deeds
(Romans 4:1-3) (Romans 10:3-4) (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Galatians 2:16, 21) (Galatians 3:11).
The bible teaches us that everyone is saved by the grace of God through faith
(Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 3:21-28).
God grants the forgiveness of sins and everlasting life to all those who believe and trust in Jesus as Savior
(Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (Romans 3:23-28).
104. False teachers will tell you that you must commit your life to Christ in order to be saved.
I’ll hear people says things like I committed my life to Christ in order to be saved. People of the world giving Christ a commitment is not The Gospel.
It’s not like you just woke up one day and said today I’m going to stop all the evil I use to do and now I’m going to commit my life to Christ. First, committing your life to Christ is not the gospel. The gospel is not about you it’s about Jesus Christ. That’s the first thing you must grasp and understand. The gospel is not you saying I’m going to commit my life to Christ the gospel is the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
2nd what will you say when you sin again? And yes, you will sin again. It is a fact that you will sin again before this day is done. It’s impossible to have sin free days and it’s impossible to be sinless. Everyone sins every single day whether we know it or not and this is because we have a sinful nature and the sinful nature is never eradicated in this life. No sinner has good eternal attributes apart from Christ. In other words, were not good people nor righteous apart from Christ. We are sinners, wicked, vile and we are not faithful people 100% of the time 24/7 365 days a year. Not only are we not faithful to God 100% of the time were not faithful to our neighbor 100% of the time neither. None of us is perfect and gets it right all the time.
So, when you sin again and backslide sometime in the future whenever that will be (whether it’s 5 years from now or 30 years from now) is that considered you being faithful to Jesus and you being committed? Another problem with this false teaching is this: How committed do you have to be and what does that look like on a day to day level? How much do you have to read your Bible, go to church, witness the gospel, love God, love your fellow neighbor etc.? You need to know these things because you don’t want to lose your salvation for not being committed enough. Now do you see the problem with this false teaching? You will never know what’s enough commitment and now you’re trying to save yourself because your believing in a false gospel of works in which you must perform enough good deeds in order to be saved by God. This is not the gospel this is a false gospel which is a gospel of works.
How were people saved in The Old Testament and in The New Testament? The biblical answer is Faith.
The Bible says Abraham believed God and it was accredited to him as righteousness (Romans 4:3)
How was the thief on the cross saved? Did he say Lord Jesus I repent of all my sins so based on me repenting of all my sins and based on me committing my life to you Jesus save me Lord? No, he simply believed and trusted in The Lord Jesus Christ to save Him and Jesus saved him (Luke 23:26-43)
This is how everyone is saved from The Old Testament to the New. God justifies and saves sinners because of their faith in His Son Jesus (Romans 3:23-28).
You have two options when you say your saved by committing your Life to Christ
1. Your saying God is saving me because I committed my life to Christ. Therefore, you’re not saved by Jesus alone your saved because of your own commitment to Jesus. Your saved because of something you did. The problem with this false teaching is this: You’re not saved because of anything you did your saved by what Christ did and by what he already accomplished (past tense) for you at the cross. You cannot go back in time and undo what Jesus did on the cross. The finished work of Christ on that cross for you is perfect and this perfect sacrifice of Jesus alone makes you holy and worthy to stand faultless and guiltless before a Holy God. Jesus is your Savior who saves you and not the other way around. He alone paid the price for your eternal salvation at the cross. You had no part whatsoever in paying the price for your eternal salvation.
2. Or your saying your saved by your commitment to Christ + faith in Jesus. So again, your saying Jesus doesn’t have the power to simply save you by himself. So, you a sinner must help The Divine Son of God in saving you. Does that sound right to you? Either Jesus saves you totally and completely by Himself or He’s not The Savior at all. In other words, since you don’t truly believe Jesus is The Savior who saves you completely, you’re basically making yourself The Savior.
Testimonies should not be about us it should be testifying about Jesus (1 John 5:11-13) (1 John 4:14) (Acts 10:43). What I want you to understand is this: It’s not about you giving your life to Christ per say it’s about Christ who gave his life for you (Galatians 1:4) (Galatians 2:20) (Ephesians 5:2) (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) (1 Timothy 2:4-6) (Mark 10:45) (Titus 2:14) (Romans 5:6) (John 15:13) (Luke 23:26-46)! This is because if Christ hadn’t given his life/ offered his life for you on the cross you could never be saved by a Holy God. Here’s the revelation: In other words, If Christ didn’t do what He did on the cross for you, you would never be saved by God The Father no matter what you did. This is because you are not saved by anything you do you are saved by what Christ did. You must understand this biblical truth Christ Jesus is all that matters. Salvation is about Jesus and not about you. In Gods Holy wisdom this way Christ His Son gets all the glory and credit for our own salvation. Jesus suffered, Jesus shed his blood, Jesus died on the cross paying our sin debt in full unto God therefore Jesus alone gets all the glory, credit, worship, honor and praise for securing our eternal redemption.
True biblical repentance when it comes to salvation means to trust in Christ. When a sinner believes in Jesus trusts in him for their eternal salvation biblically speaking, they have just repented. This is because true biblical repentance means to believe in Jesus.
Jesus has completed all the work for your eternal salvation by himself. The work of Christ is finished.
We are not saved by our works before our salvation, during, nor after. No works of ours is involved at all whatsoever when it comes to our salvation. We cannot take credit nor boast about anything when it comes to our own salvation
Jesus by himself purged our sins! This is a Powerful revelation! Read (Hebrews 1:3).
In other words, we are not saved because of our so-called commitment to Christ we are saved only because we believe that Christ Jesus is The Son of God who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Simply put, faith in Jesus’ death, burial, and bodily resurrection = salvation. Read (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) (Romans 3:23-38) (Acts 16:30-31) (John 3:16).
False teachers simply will not accept that faith in Jesus The Savior alone saves and is enough for your salvation.
Not what do false teachers say. What does the bible say? Does the bible teach that faith in Jesus is enough and is the only thing required for a sinner to be saved by God? Yes, it does.
The bible makes it so clear that faith in Jesus alone saves. All a sinner must do to be saved by God is simply to believe in Jesus as Savior.
Acts 16:30-31 (KJV)
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,
John 3:16 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
105. False teachers will tell you that you must surrender your life to Christ in order to be saved.
The bible makes it so clear that faith in Jesus alone saves. All a sinner must do to be saved by God is simply to believe in Jesus as Savior.
